Robe's New ROBIN Fixtures Arrive in Croatia

29 April 2009

(Croatia) - Robe's brand new ROBIN products - hot from the factory following their official launch at the Prolight + Sound show in Frankfurt - were the main attraction at Croatian distributors' Sali Trade's 3rd annual Open Day last week.

The event was staged at the Dom Hrvatskih Branitelju (House of the Croatian Army) venue in Pula, Croatia. The event, jointly organized with guest partner Perinić Sistemi, attracted over 70 lighting specialists from TV (including HRT national TV), theatres (including the HNK Zagreb Croatian National Theatre, HNK Split, the Centre of Culture in Čakovec, INK Pula and Teatr Požega) plus several rental companies (GIS, DD Elektroakustika, ARA Electronic, Produkcija Zvuka). Such was the buzz about the new Robin fixtures that people travelled from all across the country and also from neighbouring Bosnia and Slovenia! Robe was represented by International Sales Manager Harry von Den Stemmen.

“This was the third Sali Trade open day " he comments. "Each time the events grow and improve to the point where they have become a must-attend occasion for anyone serious about getting to know the latest lighting technology available on the Croatian market”.
Robe made a detailed presentation of all its new products. Technical Support Manager Aleš Gřivač concentrated on the Robin series as well as the Digital Series products including DigitalSpot 7000 and
The 3 new Robe Robin products are the Robin 300 Plasma Spot and the Robin 300E Spot and Wash fixtures.

Robe's innovative use of the revolutionary plasma lamp technology certainly caused a stir, and the amazing Robin 300 Plasma Spot is just the first in a unique new generation of plasma lamp based fixtures.
Robe - always at the forefront of new and emerging technologies - is the first major moving light manufacturer to utilise this radical new technology from Luxim. The Lifi (Light fidelity) lamp is a highly efficient electrodeless lamp that uses radio waves to create a plasma inside a small glass bulb (the “TIC-TAC” lamp), emitting 95 lumens per Watt.

The Robin 300 Plasma Spot has a perfect colour rendering index of 94, an extremely flat and even light beam of 1:1.4 and a lamp lifespan of 10,000 hours.

Visitors were also impressed with the event generally and its surroundings in the beautiful ballroom of the Hrvatskih Branitelju. “We have received so many positive comments,” says Sali Trade’s Davor Vujić, “ And are proud to be the first to present the brand new Robin series so soon after its launch!”

The format of the event offered an excellent opportunity to talk to attendees individually, and give everyone all the attention and time they needed close-up with the products... as well as a chance for the all-important tasks of socializing and partying a bit - when the real exchange of ideas and thoughts gets going! In the evening, Sali Trading organised a night out at the famous Rockcaffe live music venue in Pula.
